Explosion-Proof & Hazardous Area Fixtures

Explosion-proof (Ex) lighting is designed so that sparks or heat inside the fitting cannot ignite flammable gas, vapour or dust around it. It is required in hazardous areas such as oil and gas facilities, refineries, chemical plants, paint booths, fuel depots, ships and offshore platforms. Delight supplies explosion-proof light fittings in Singapore from Eaton, Warom, Lumenex, Wolf Safety, SOP and Supermec: linear fittings, floodlights, high bays, emergency lights and exit signs, plus Ex junction boxes, isolators and plugs and sockets.

The key step is matching the fitting's rating to your area classification (for example Zone 1 or Zone 2 for gas, Zone 21 or 22 for dust) and the gas group and temperature class on your hazardous area drawing. Send us the zone, gas group and temperature class, or your consultant's spec, and we will propose compliant models with datasheets and certificates within 24 hours. Delivery is free in Singapore on orders over $300.
