Telemecanique Sensors XY2CE Rope Pull Switch, 70m, 2NO/2NC

The Telemecanique XY2CE & XY2CB Emergency Stop Rope Pull Switches provide reliable emergency stop protection for industrial machinery and conveyor systems. Operators can trigger the switch instantly by pulling the cable. Therefore, the system quickly reduces the risk of injury and equipment damage.

Emergency Stop Function

These rope pull switches allow activation through a single action, which makes them highly effective in emergencies. In addition, the system also triggers automatically if the trip wire breaks. As a result, it ensures continuous safety monitoring even in fault conditions.

Positive Operation & Latching

The switches use positive opening contacts, which guarantee safe disconnection. When activated, the switch latches in the tripped position, so the normally closed (NC) safety contacts open immediately. Meanwhile, the normally open (NO) contact provides signaling only. Therefore, the system maintains clear and reliable operation.

Reset and Restart Mechanism

The switch includes a manual reset button, which restores the safety contacts after activation. However, the machine does not restart automatically. Instead, operators must restart it using a separate control device. Consequently, this design prevents accidental restarts and improves safety.

Installation Guidelines

• Recommended distance between cable supports: 15 meters
• For model XY2-CB30: 20 meters spacing is recommended
• The XY2CB model does not support angled cable installations
• The XY2CE model allows angled installation; however, the total bend angle must not exceed 180°
