Reliable Emergency Stop Over Long Distances
The SICK i150RP Rope Pull Switch stops dangerous machine movements quickly over distances up to 75 meters. Install the rope along conveyors or exposed machine sections to protect hazardous areas that do not have physical guards. As a result, operators can trigger an emergency stop from anywhere along the rope.
Moreover, the switch activates not only when someone pulls the rope but also if the rope breaks. Therefore, it ensures continuous safety monitoring across the entire protected area.
Safe and Responsive Operation
In normal conditions, the rope stays under proper tension. However, when an operator pulls the rope—or if it becomes slack—the safety contacts open immediately. Consequently, the system shuts down without delay.
A rotary unlocking lever allows quick and controlled resetting after activation. In addition, the integrated emergency stop pushbutton gives users another way to stop the machine instantly.
Durable Industrial Design
The i150RP features a rugged metal housing with a built-in rope tension display. Because of its strong construction, it performs reliably in demanding industrial environments.
You can choose between an M20 x 1.5 cable entry gland or a Flexi Loop-compatible M12 connector, depending on the variant. Furthermore, the slow-action switching elements with four contacts provide stable and accurate performance.
