The Brady 65502 Lockout Tags provide clear and reliable warning during maintenance and repair work by preventing accidental machine startup. These tags help workers identify locked-out equipment instantly, improving safety and supporting OSHA lockout/tagout procedures in industrial environments.
Manufactured by Brady, these heavy-duty lockout tags use durable polyester material (B-837) encapsulated in a matte laminate finish. As a result, the tags resist water, grease, oil, and harsh chemicals while maintaining legibility in extreme temperatures from -40°F to 176°F (-40°C to 80°C).
Durable & Write-On Design
In addition, the write-on polyester laminate allows workers to record names, dates, and remarks directly on the tag. This feature improves accountability and ensures that only authorized personnel remove the lockout device. The brass grommet strengthens the attachment point and exceeds OSHA’s 50 lb pull force requirement, making the tag suitable for demanding industrial conditions.
High Visibility Safety Message
Moreover, each tag displays a bold DANGER header and clear “DO NOT OPERATE” warning text on both sides. The reverse side warns against unauthorized removal and provides space for remarks.
