To find the right replacement, read the code printed on the old tube: the type (T8 or T5), the wattage and the colour code. For example, 840 means 4000K neutral white with good colour rendering, and 865 means 6500K daylight. When switching to LED tubes, check whether your fitting has a magnetic or electronic ballast, because some LED tubes work with the ballast in place and others need it removed.
