FAQs
How does a microwave sensor light work?
These motion sensors work by using electro-magnetic radiation. The sensor emits waves which are then reflected back to the receiver. This means that if an object is moving e.g. person walking by, these waves are going to be altered. The sensor detects a change from this movement which commands a microprocessor to switch the light on.
What is the difference between a Microwave sensor and a PIR sensor?
A microwave sensor emits microwave signal for detection. A PIR sensor senses infrared signal emitted by various items which includes a person.
